Junior Scholarships
The MAPGA has some opportunities for young junior golfers to achieve a scholarship to help further their career in college and beyond. Please look on the below for the different scholarships.
Tony Marlowe Scholarship
A donation by Tina and Wally Uihlein enabled the MAPGA Scholarship Foundation to create the Tony Marlowe Junior Scholarship in honor of Tina’s late father, MAPGA Hall of Fame Class of 2002 Tony Marlowe. The Tony Marlowe Junior Scholarship fund will provide scholarships to MAPGA junior golfers to be used toward their college education. Scholarships will be based on academic performance, extracurricular activities and on-course etiquette. For more information, contact the Bob Heintz, at (540) 720-7420 x128.
Congratulations to Matthew Fazenbaker (Winchester, VA) and Camille Knable (Chevy Chase, MD) for winning the 2011 Tony Marlowe Scholarships.
